ZHONG Zhiyang currently holds the positions of Lecturer and Master's Supervisor at the Institute of Higher Education at Tongji University, in addition to serving as Deputy Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Research Center (Tongji University). She earned her Ph.D. in Management from Beijing Institute of Technology and has further enriched her academic experience as a visiting scholar at Leibniz University Hannover and Paderborn University in Germany.

Zhiyang is a researcher has long been engaged to teaching and researching in the fields of higher education management and innovation and entrepreneurship. She also contributes as a reviewer for the Asia Pacific Journal of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and other academic journals. Actively participating in many national, provincial, and international research projects, including those supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences Foundation, and the National Education Science Planning Project. Her work is published in various domestic and international journals.

Her research interests are centered around science and technology innovation policies, university-industry-research collaboration, innovation and entrepreneurship education, and research innovation capabilities.
